The change in patches takes about a second to complete and you can hear it. Along the course of the song I used four different sets of effects that each include the Springs 63 reverb. In this recording I use the zoom G1Xon on the lead guitar for my surf guitar composition 'Waterfall.' For clarity of the lead guitar in this demonstration I removed the rhythm guitar and cut the percussion volume by about 5 db. Combining compression with Springs 63 reverb increases the splash, especially when compression follows Springs 63 in the chain of effects. To avoid a shrill quality with higher levels of dwell and mix, I decrease the treble content. Its intensity ('dwell'), percentage wet ('mix') and treble content ('tone') are adjustable (each 0 to 100) to produce mild, moderate or intense reverb. To my ears the Springs 63 gives a pleasant rendition of an outboard reverb unit. Moreover, you can change sets of effects ('patches') almost instantly by pressing the 'up' or 'down' pedal. This pedal includes a wide variety of different reverb effects but also many other effects including compressions, amp emulations, and delays.
